Shell SmartPlant Review and Aveva Portal Implementation

Information Quality’s SmartPlant Administrators were engaged to assist publish engineering data and drawings to the new Facility Engineering Portal.

IQ performed a review of the existing Smartplant P&ID and Smartplant Instrumentation databases and deliverables against company requirements to develop an as-built dataset.

Working alongside Aveva, IQ developed processes to enable data to be published directly from the smartplant toolset to Aveva Engineering and the Aveva Asset Information Management Portal. This key step in the digital transformation process, enables business critical information to be more efficiently presented to company personnel.
